TOMOYASU'S IN A MOVIE!?

I just found this out after I watched Ichi the Killer on DVD. I was going through the extras, and of course all they had were some trailers, so I watched this one called Samurai Fiction. As I was watching it, and cracking up (it's SOO funny) I started to hear, and see something familiar, and it flashed MUSIC BY: TOMOYASU HOTEI. And I knew it. Not only was the music that I was hearing done by Hotei, but one of the main characters (the samuria) was the spitting image of him. Just to be sure I went and got my Vampre (that's spelled correct BTW) CD and watched the trailer again, while looking at the samuria character, AND IT WAS HIM! I have to see Samuria Fiction! I already ordered it off of Ebay, and all I have to do is send the money tomorrow then wait, umm, about six days and I should have it.
Right now I'm lookin for any Samuria Fiction fanlistings to become an affiliate with. If you know any then please leave a comment under this post, with the link (of course).
Oh and I will post a link for you to go and watch the trailer, it's the best.

INTERNATIONAL RELEASE

Here's some international release info from the Hotei website.

SUPERSONIC GENERATION(Album)& BATTLE ROAYL MIXES II(Single) / TOMOYASU HOTEI

Projects featuring Apollo Four Forty, Darren Price(Official DJ of Underworld)and the trance-like vocals of Israeli singer Ofra Haza. Included remixes were worked on by artists such as Fluke, Kurtis Mantronik and Moloko.

KILL BILL(OST)

Hotei's track, "Battle Without Honor or Humanity", was used in the film's trailers and TV advertisements on a worldwide scale, introducing his music for the first time to many a movie and music fan across the borders.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas(OST)

In January 1998, Hotei was asked to perform his unique brand of guitar for the film soundtrack to "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". The film directed by Terry Gilliam and starring Johnny Depp released in worldwide. Hotei co-wrote three of the tracks with Ray Cooper, percussionist and music producer of the film.

Merry Axemas - A Guitar Christmas(Compilation)

Hotei joined forces with other guitar giants in a newly recorded album released internationally entitled "Merry Axemas / A Guitar Christmas". The album features Jeff Beck, Richie Sambora, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert,and Joe Perry to name a few. Each artist performed instrumental guitar versions of their favorite Christmas track, with Hotei choosing John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "Happy Christmas (War Is Over)".

GUITAR CONCERTO / Kamen & HOTEI(Album)

Following their collaboration at the Atlanta Olympic games closing ceremony, Hotei continues his association with Michael Kamen. The two came together once again to record Kamen's "Guitar Concerto - for Electric guitar, Rock band and orchestra commissioned by Eric Clapton", a full orchestrated composition in three movements. The concerto was released as a special EP in June of 1998. During the same session, Hotei was inspired to record his version of Kamen's "Edge of Darkness", which is featured in "The Michael Kamen Soundtrack Album".

New Hotei CD.

There is a new CD that came out (in the UK, Japan, and Korea) by Hotei. The new CD is called Electric Samurai, the release date for Japan&Korea was 2004.3.31, and the release date for the UK was 2004.4.5. I have already checked ebay but it seems that no one is selling it just quite yet but there are dome places that are, those include CDJAPAN, HMV. That's about all that I can find right now that sells CDs from Japan, and the site is in English (but that's only cause I didn't spend to much time looking). But if I find more sites I will be sure to post them.

I have added your site to the affiliates list even if I'm still pending to be one, and your site will stay there even if you do not accept me as an affiliate, due to the fact that I had the time now to redo the whole changing images script that I use for the list and it took me forever to download all the images to imgspot and then type our the script, so therefore I am to lazy and/or will not have time to go back and get rid or your link, but I will be thankful if I'm added to the affiliates list.
